I have a PhD in Organic Chemistry (Univ of MN) and while in graduate school ('93 - '99) I was a teaching assistant and department tutor for general/organic chemistry for 6 years. I currently ('99 to present) work in the pharmaceutical industry and throughout my career I have been informally teaching chemistry/medicinal chemistry to the bachelor's level employees. Chemistry is a real struggle for me, but also a very important part of my curriculum. Our chem class is moving very fast, and without Feryan, I'd be completely lost. He explains things in a way that makes it as easy as possible to understand, and he's enormously helpful with homework. If you're a returning adult student like me, you'll be happy you chose him. Given his patience, I'd recommend Feryan for children as well.

Feryan is a patient and kind person and this comes across in his teaching.
